Queen Beatrix and Princess Máxima are very busy bees on their Southeast Asian tour and changed into ANOTHER set of outfits and hats today (I’m just tired thinking about it!) Queen Beatrix wore another black hat, this one with a rounded crown and cutout detail on the side of the brim. It was much more attractive and flattering than the first black hat she wore today but the purple one she wore for her arrival still takes the cake.
Máxima repeated the large straw hat she wore three days ago in Brunei. I think I liked it even better on this outing (it looked beautiful with her cream and pink silk dress) so declare this another winner.
It’s not hat news but if you haven’t already seen the gown Máxima wore to the state dinner in Singapore tonight, you might want to take a peek here. This woman is clearly fearless when it comes to fashion!

Both hats are just OK. I think Maxima’s is a little big. Beatrix looks better with hats that have brims.
