Best New Royal Hat of 2015: Sweden

2015 best hat small

After looking at the royal hats that premiered this year in Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg and Norway,  we turn our focus to Sweden today.  If any of the hats you see here are, in your opinion, among the best new royal hats of 2015, case your vote below! To streamline the poll, I have omitted a number of less memorable hats and fascinators (links are provided below). Click on any of the photos to jump back to original posts to see additional description and detail of the hats.

A note about voting- the hats with the most votes across this semifinal will move forward to the final face off. If you don’t think any of these hats are worthy of the title of Best of 2015, save your vote or take another look at hats from Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg and Norway. The next poll will be up on tomorrow.

  1. I consider Queen Silvia’s best new hat this year to be the purple feathered calot pictured at Number 3. I liked all her calots and this was the best one. She definitely suits this hat style and it goes so well with her hairdos. I consider Crown Princess Victoria’s white fedora to be her best new hat for 2015, but I am biased when it comes to fedoras, and it is pictured at Number 6. I also really liked her purple pillbox, pictured at Number 8. It was a good sized pillbox, and the purple suits her well. I consider Princess Madeleine’s magenta flowered headpiece, pictured at Number 11, to not only be her own best, but one of the best new Royal hats of the year. This magenta shade is so attractive on her, the placement was right on, and it was ideal for a Christening, a timeless, elegant, and bright piece of headwear. I consider Countess Marianne Bernadotte’s cream and gold bowler hat, pictured at Number 14, to be one of the cheekiest, most fun hats of the year.

  2. I love these polls HatQueen! Keep them coming please! I think No: 11 Princess Madeleine’s magenta flowered headpiece, is one of the best of the Royal Hat collections this year.
