  1. I always enjoy HatQueen’s Hat From The Past articles. It is amazing how much fashions change over the years. I wonder how Queen Mary could tolerate those huge hats, tight corsets, high, constrictive necklines and chokers, and heavy jewels!

  2. I assume that’s the king with her? Looks like him, anyway. I’m amused by how he couldn’t seem to hold his face still enough for the camera to make a clear exposure while she, even with a huge pile of flowers balanced on her head and a tightly-laced corset restricting her airflow, stayed perfectly composed.

  3. Looks as though someone lifted the centerpiece from a table decoration on to the Queen’s head. Amazing hat!
