I’ll do my best to post a review of British Easter hats tomorrow. Following this, I’ll be signing off for three weeks. On Monday and Thursday mornings, there will be an open post for you all to share links to current royal hats and discuss them as usual. I’m relying on you to keep track of royal hat happenings while I am away and thank you all in advance for keeping the conversation going!

  1. HatQueen, I believe I was a week early in wishing you a well-deserved vacation. I hope you will have three weeks a world away from hats!

  2. Happy Easter to HatQueen and to all the Royal Hats fandom! I hope you have a truly fantastic holiday HatQueen, as you certainly deserve it! Princess Eugenie looks great in her very British bowler hat. Prince Henrik’s fedora is a good look for him. Princess Hanako’s ivory cloche suits her in both color and style. Queen Paola looks good in her back mantilla. The Luxembourg Royals all looked good for their audience with the Pope. Prince Harry’s Nepalese headwear looked good but is that a fly that landed on the front of his hat in the first photo? The Grimaldi family wore a mixed bag of clothes and jewels at their annual Rose Ball, but I have some questions. Why isn’t it white tie and tiara? Where was Princess Charlene? Why was the theme Cuban at a European ball? And that being the case, why were so few of the guests wearing anything vageuely Cuban at all? Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar looked as cute as cute can ever be!
