Princess Beneditkte At The Races

Princess Beneditkte was at the Klampenborg race track on Saturday to present prizes in the Dansk Jockey Club Cup. For this event, she repeated her bright pink straw picture hat. This remains one of my favourite hats on this Danish princess and its recent outing shows how versatile it is. While I prefer the angle Benedikte wore it here, I am much more partial to it’s last pairing (with this chic grey dress) than this combination with her melon plaid jacket. For me, this hat is all about light effortlessness and the jacket (a nice enough piece on its own) is too heavy for the ensemble to feel light.

What do you think of this hat’s outing over the weekend?

  1. I like the way Benedikte is wearing the hat this time better than its previous outing, but I’m not such a fan of her outfit. Something about the jacket makes it look a bit boxy, and the color scheme of her whole outfit just doesn’t work with the hat. The pearls and nail color are nice finishing touches though . . .

  2. Lovely shaped hat, looks lovely on her, but not with the jacket. (I am wondering if the colors of the jacket coordinate with the hat color more closely “in person” than they do [or don’t!] in photos!)
