  1. I see that Sophie is still in her midi dress phase. This hat looked much better with the other dress, but then that is probably my bias showing!

  2. I like this bit of Ascot mix and match by Sophie – the blues look great together. She does look fab when she works a 50s silhouette.

  3. Those cute doggies look very “dashing”, showing off their smart collars!
Masako looks just right in her navy blue and white hat: it’s a standard that really suits her.
Sophie’s hat is fine, but I feel its modest beret-size dimensions (very suitable for a military parade) – are overwhelmed by the sheer volume of that frock, which looks heavy in comparison. To me it seems that such a large blank-canvas statement dress is crying out for a large hat (and equally statement shoes), rather than the low-key accessories seen here.

  4. I really enjoyed This Week’s Extras HatQueen, and I agree with you about the Susanne Juul hat being perfect for Crown Princess Mary.

  5. Sophie looks wonderful in her blue outfit, very pretty. The hat looks great. It provides just a bit of contrast with the clean and simple blue dress and I love the longer length.

    • I agree with what Michell says: July 3, 2016 at 7:05 pm. This shade of blue is very flattering to the Countess.
