This Week’s Extras

A extras 1

Infanta Elena in her much loved cream fedora first, to celebrate her aunt Infanta Pilar’s 80th birthday last weekend (Semana) and again later this week on vacation in Mallorca (Getty). We see Elena in a lot of fedoras but the one she wore yesterday in Mallorca is undoubtedly my favourite so far. That is some raspberry fedora goodness.

  1. I agree with what Michell says: August 6, 2016 at 2:41 pm. Infanta Elena looks good in this fedora, but I wish she would add more variety to her hat wardrobe.

    • Why? These are all worn to public but very casual events. Elena doesn’t have many royal engagements (and certainly never wears hats for the ones she does). Her millinery wardrobe is a recreational one- fedoras fit it, well.

  2. I like the raspberry fedora! And, the Infanta certainly knows what she likes.

The summer pictures are great, aren’t they? The families look lovely.

  3. Just some random comments:
Infanta Elena: I understand a favorite hat style but really… always a fedora?

Danish and Spanish royal families: Lovely and casual. Its good to see QL wearing flats for once and to see Mary wearing a printed t-shirt. Just like the common masses.

Zara: She does look good in the saddle!
