Have you heard that the Countess of Wessex is taking up a Duke of Edinburgh challenge (raising funds for charity in honour of the Duke of Edinburgh Award’s 60th anniversary) that involves many, many hours wearing a bike helmet?

While not exactly a sport… Princess Camilla of of Bourbon Two Sicilies was spotted hat shopping in St. Tropez back in early July (Pure People)

  1. Photographers must love the Duchess of Castro. Not only does she dress flamboyantly, but she always looks directly at the camera and strikes a pose. Thank you for the extensive retrospective.

    • The daughter of a wealthy Italian industrialist, Camilla Crociani was a well educated, multi-lingual equestrienne (and heiress) when she married Prince Carlo of Bourbon-Two Sicilies in 1998. He is an Italian prince (read a summary about the complex House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies here or a longer explanation here) raised in France- they now live in Monaco with their two daughters. The couple are close friends with the Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark and Prince Albert of Monaco and are often included in European royal events. While Princess Camilla seems to do a lot of charity work, she’s most famous for her colourful and somewhat flamboyant personal style.
