  1. This is a smashing color combination and the look is timeless. Where did that hat go? We need to see it again!

  2. Diana is still my favorite princess of all time. She was so young when she joined “The Firm” and she tried many styles some unsuccessfully but this was fabulous. Two colors that you wouldn’t usually put together were actually fantastic!

  3. It would be hard to imagine a more successful hat for this dress. With such a bold color scheme, trim and extras have been kept to a minimum. Just fabulous.

  4. An excellent hat that I wouldn’t mind seeing today if we had the chance, and the color combo was a bold (and correct) choice that would be hard for others to pull off.

  5. I love the color and styling of the hat. I love the dress, but it’s so big on PDiana! Of course, we know she was having issues with bulimia. I’m glad she found peace and happiness later in life.

  6. I loved the hat, and I still love it. Too bad she was looking so glum. Such a wonderful hat should have made anyone smile. To paraphrase Crocodile Dundee: Now that’s a hat. 🙂

  7. Loved this then, still love it now. The very late 80s was when Diana hit her style stride I think. She streamlined her look and let colour, cut and shape talk. This is a really bold colour combo and the hat, a 20’s style cloche with a wide brim, was just wonderful.
