During the last two decades of her life, Queen Fabiola wore fewer hats (although her trademark hairstyle stayed the same!). While her love for hats may have dwindled, her joie de vivre did not. This immense love of life is what we will remember.

What a lovely individual she must have been. Thank you for the very interesting retrospective.
A fabulous woman, a great Queen. And thank you for this lovely tribute x
Thank you so much for your magnificent posts about a much loved queen. Joie de vivre was her middle name. She had such heart, such joy, and such style. She was always fresh and interesting, and she had a good time despite the sorrows in her life. I loved looking at all of these, pictures in these posts. Thank you for your hard work. It is much appreciated.
