The second day of the Chilean state visit to Sweden saw a business forum followed by lunch at the Stockholm City Hall. Joining President Michelle Bachelet were the King, Queen, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel.
Queen Silvia repeated her peacock blue pillbox hat. It’s a piece we’ve seen several times before but the colour is so fantastic on her that I understand why it’s becoming a favourite.

Crown Princess Victoria indulged her fascinator-loving side with one made up of ecru straw bow loops and spiky white feathers. It’s a substantial piece that worked well with her hairstyle and the level of formality of today’s event. If you’re going to do an all white working royal ensemble, this is a good way to do it.

Royal Hats 
I love the Queen’s pillbox, but in style and color I think it looks better with the round collared blue coat than with the dress alone. Victoria’s fascinator looks good from a distance but up close it does look rather like someone tore something and wadded it up. A hat reflecting some of the ribbed pattern found in the dress might have been good. I can see it working in a small or large size.

Crown Princess Victoria looks fantastic. I’m not a huge lover of fascinators, but this one is a little edgier than most, a little less fluffy and soft. I like it!

It is the Queen ‘s uniform. The colour is nice.
The fascinator ..sorry reminds me when a child takes a long piece of paper cuts long narrow strips in it but not all the way through rolls it up and sticks it on their head.
I also do not like the placement on her head…that hair..neck..bad.
Oh PUH-LEEZ. Vicktoria has one or two stray hairs popping out of her bun and you get all up in her face about it. She looks great. This is SUCH a chic outfit and I think she looks fab.And some of us think some of her fascinators (totally this one) are super cute BTW.

I am not usually a fascinator person, but I love this one on Victoria. It is pretty and whimsical, and substantial enough to add presence and detail to her otherwise very simple outfit. Very pretty!
Me too! This one is really nice (maybe because it’s bigger) and it is gorgeous with her dress, purse and white shoes.
